Vincenzo Meleca Vincenzo is primarily a traveler and then a writer, photographer, journalist and particularly he is a delightful "fellow traveller”. His love for Dahlak back to his childhood, and after the first trip, the love for Dahlak have become an "addiction". The islands inspired the book "Return to Dahlak Kebir", the first book in Italian language published in 2001 after the legendary "Dahlak" written by Gianni Roghi, and then a novel: "An end, a beginning”, largely set in this archipelago. Only those who love hopelessly may be planning to celebrate the end of life in this way, arousing in all the friends who read the book, a state of great anxiety, unable to distinguish whether what is narrated is reality or fantasy. He now is working on a guide on the archipelago, which will be completed soon, as we all hope, and it will be a good help to all travellers. As far as I know this is the first guidebook dedicated exclusively to the Dahlak Islands. |
